Shear Soccer

Shear Soccer is directed by Adam Shearer who has many years experience as a player and a coach. We are a locally based organisation that take great pride in running our courses on a personal basis as well as looking to raise standards across South Devon.
At Shear Soccer we make sure that all players are given the best opportunity to improve their game and become a more valuable member of their team. This is achieved by creating a Positive Learning Environment that is fun and friendly and by using modern coaching techniques and methodology.
We provide a coaching service for Primary and Secondary Schools in Torbay and South Hams areas as well as running Holiday courses and working closely with target groups e.g Positive Active Youth Programmes.
Our courses cater for all players regardless of skill level and ambition. We have specific courses for Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, Strikers, Girls, Primary School Players, Secondary School Players. Our strong team of coaches have many contacts in the professional game from Premiership clubs down to Conference level.
Any players that show outstanding ability on our courses may be given, if they so wish advice and guidance from our experienced team of coaches as to how they may have an opportunity to train with a professional club.
We have an official link with 'Plymouth Argyle Youth Development'. And any player that shows outstanding ability and has a good attitude may be given the opportunity if they wish to train with our 'Plymouth Argyle' centre based at South Devon College.
See our Courses page for venues and dates of our Holiday Courses. All participants on our Holiday courses will receive a certificate, T-Shirt and participate in several fun orientated competitions with medals, trophies and prizes presented to winners.
We also present 'Player of the course' awards and 'Most Improved Player' awards, which are not just decided on ability but also good behaviour and a positive attitude.
Our main aim at Shear Soccer is to provide every single player who attends our sessions/courses with a safe and happy environment in which to build self confidence, form friendships, improve play and above all ENJOY the WORLDS GREATEST GAME!
