Shear Soccer is directed by Adam Shearer who has many years experience as a player and a coach. We are a locally based organisation that takes great pride in running our courses on a personal basis as well as looking to raise standards in sport across South Devon.
As an organisation we have recently linked up with ‘Stoke Gabriel Community Sports’ and ‘Stoke Gabriel Football Club’ to be able to offer you a more comprehensive, better quality product in all the services that we can provide.
Whichever product suits you, we at Shear Soccer will make sure that all participants are given the best opportunity to improve their performance, maximise enjoyment and become a valuable member of their group. This is achieved by creating a Positive Learning Environment that is fun and friendly and by using modern coaching techniques and methodology imposed by our experienced, knowledgeable team of coaches.
We provide a coaching service for Schools, Clubs and Centres in Torbay, Teignbridge and South Hams areas as well as hosting Holiday courses, Apprenticeships, Girls Soccer Centre, Pro Development Centre, Goalkeeper Workshops, Birthday Parties, Charity Events and work closely with target groups such as ‘Positive Active Youth Programmes’. We also have a close working relationship with ‘South Dartmoor Schools Sports Partnership’ and ‘Devon County FA’
Any players that show outstanding ability and has a good attitude on our courses may be given, if they so wish advice and guidance from our experienced team of coaches as to how they may have an opportunity to train in the environment of a professional club.
We have an official link with 'Plymouth Argyle Youth Development' and run a Pro Development Centre based at South Devon College.
